BEE-ROLL
This cabin belongs to an animal keeper; it looks like some of their critters are rolling dice.
Eight mighty bees want to play their favorite game; they sit around the table at their usual spots, playing like so:
Starting with one player chosen at random, the bees take turns rolling a six-sided die. On each bee's turn, they roll the die, choose another bee who has not been chosen already, and "steal" a letter from that bee's name based on the die roll. The die then goes to the bee who was just stolen from, and the game continues from there.
If the chosen player has already rolled, then the bees choose the next player from those who have yet to roll. If this happens when only one bee has yet to roll, that bee gets to end the game by stealing any letter from the alphabet.
The bees then show off their letters and argue about who has the coolest one, and then they decide that everyone wins! (Bees are simple, and there's no strategy to their game.) Here's how this game went:
While the rest of the group discusses who should start the game, one bee enthusiastically shouts, "Hello bees!", grabs the die, and rolls a 3. That bee steals from the player two seats counterclockwise.
The next bee also rolls a 3, and decides to steal from the player on the middle of their side of the table.
The next bee rolls a 2, and decides to steal from the first bee who rolled. Because the die has made a full loop, the bees decide that the remaining bee with the shortest first name will go next.
They roll a 5, and decide to steal from the last remaining bee on the other side of the table.
The next bee rolls a 4, and decides to steal the letter H from another bee.
On the next bee's turn, the die rolls into a fold in the tablecloth and lands at an angle, where it could read 1 or 5. To make things easy, they steal from the bee whose name gives the same letter either way.
The next bee rolls a 2, and decides to steal from the bee on the opposite end of their side of the table. The die has made another full loop, and there is now only one bee who hasn't rolled: The Bee with Many Names.
The Bee with Many Names ends the game by stealing the letter K from the alphabet.
Now that everyone has stolen a letter, the bees show off their letters one at a time, going clockwise and ending at The Bee with Many Names. Everyone wins!
