In this puzzle, solvers are presented with two lists of names, many of which (especially in the first list) seem punny. Searching for these names reveals that the left list comprises character names from the Monster High franchise, and the right list comprises character names from the Monster Prom series, both franchises depicting monsters in a school setting.
The Monster High list provides an index next to each name with the same red color as the Monster Prom character names, suggesting that characters from each franchise can be paired together (supported by the Monster High list having no apparent ordering, while the Monster Prom characters are listed alphabetically). Indeed, each Monster High character can be paired with a Monster Prom character of the same or similar species:

Using the given ordering of the Monster High names, the letters indexed from the Monster Prom names spell out the answer DUNGEON MESHI, another franchise with plenty of monsters.
As this hunt was originally made for my partner, I put together a spreadsheet of puzzle ideas listing a bunch of their special interests. As soon as I saw both Monster High and Monster Prom on the list, I knew that I had to use both of those themes in the same puzzle. I'm not particularly deep into either fandom, but shoutout to the solver who messaged me during hunt excited that I made a puzzle around the game with "the cool gorgon lady".
