THUNK!

You wake up with a start, as a sudden metallic thud jolts you out of your sleep, accompanied by the shaking of your cabin for about two seconds. A few items on your desk console fall over, and some notebooks fall from a bookcase across the room. The shaking stops, and everything goes silent. Dazed from what's just happened, you sit up and wave your hand in front of the sensor that would normally turn the lights on in your cabin, but nothing happens.

As a systems engineer aboard this Federation starship, you begin following the standard protocol for an unknown outage, grabbing a flashlight from the drawer by your bedside. The ship has backup power systems in place, and they seem to be functional, as the room is slightly illuminated by rows of dim orange lights around the edges of the cabin. You can also see that the keypad by your cabin door is lit up, so after ensuring that nothing that fell in the tremor poses a hazard, you walk over to the door, hoping to gain more information from your fellow officers in this wing.

Standing in front of the door, however, the keypad appears entirely different from what it should look like; there's several input fields for entry codes, and entering the passwords for every level of access you have returns a big NO on every attempt.

You're trapped in your cabin.

Glancing out the window, you see a planetary system that you recognize, and you think you may gain insight as to how to leave your cabin by examining these celestial bodies.
